Nature Calling – Artist Guided Walk

Join artists David Blandy and Daniel Locke to walk their new game trail

Saturday 10 May, 10.15am–12pm

Hutchinson’s Bank Nature Reserve, North Downs Road, New Addington, Croydon, CR0 0LB

Come and experience this new game trail with the artists David Blandy and Daniel Locke. As we wander around the beautiful nature reserve, Hutchinson’s Bank, we will take part in playing the game along the way, using our imagination as it is inspired by the natural world.

This project is part of a national arts programme, Nature Calling, connecting and deepening engagement with the landscape. The aim is to listen to our communities and ensure our landscapes are a place for everyone. Artists David Blandy & Daniel Locke have been working with local schools and community groups, to inspire their project Dawn After Night, Spring After Winter. This has resulted in an evocative game publication of local mythologies and the natural world that will take players through two different interactive nature trails at Hutchinson’s Bank in New Addington, and Box Hill.
