Our Policy

Surrey Hills Arts complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and will endeavour to keep your personal information accurate and up to date and ensure that it is not kept longer than necessary. Surrey Hills Arts is hosted by Surrey County Council.

Email

Emails that we send to you or you send to us may be retained as a record of contact and your email address stored for future use in accordance with our record retention schedule. If we need to email sensitive or confidential information to you, we will perform checks to verify the correct email address and may take additional security measures.

Mailing List

If you choose to subscribe to the Surrey Hills Arts mailing list we will email you updates on Surrey Hills Arts projects, news and activities. You can unsubscribe at any time by following the links in the emails that we send you. We take your privacy seriously – your personal information will be stored and processed in accordance with our privacy policy. We use MailChimp as our marketing automation platform. By subscribing you acknowledge that the information you provide will be transferred to MailChimp for processing in accordance with their Privacy Policy and Terms. Contact us for more details.

Third parties

Surrey Hills Arts will not pass personal data to third parties for marketing, sales or any other commercial purposes without your prior explicit consent. Your personal information may be processed by an external service provider acting on our behalf in order to provide one or more services. We may process your personal information using web services hosted outside the European Economic Area, but only where a data processing agreement is in place that complies with obligations equivalent to those of the Data Protection Act.
