Footprints – landscape stories at Hascombe Hill

An audio experience at Hascombe Hill

Free self-guided walk.

Two podcasts to immerse the listener in the incredible Hascombe Hill landscape. Storyteller Jon Mason draws on myth and folklore reflecting on how human activity has shaped and continues to shape the landscape. With characters from history and legend both far and near, these podcasts delve into geology, archaeology, mythology and more, to explore how our forebears thought and felt about this landscape through the centuries.

Download the stories before you travel or access them from the QR codes on site.

Jon Mason is a professional story teller. You can enjoy more of his work here https://jonthestoryteller.com/

This is a free, self-guided walk, open to everyone. Walkers are advised to wear sturdy shoes.
