KINdling Film

KINdling celebrates the communities of workers whose names we have forgotten and whose labours have shaped the Surrey landscape. Local people collaborated with Walter bringing a kindling stick to life by giving it a face, a pair of eyes and a mouth. Walter took this kindling and created this temporary installation. The project encourages us to consider how our lives and the choices we make continue to shape the landscape today both in Surrey and around the world.
